Data Deletion

tagor.ai is a brand of Vaveti Inc. (https://vaveti.com/). You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains what data we hold, what gets deleted, and how to submit a deletion request.
What data we hold
- Account information: email address, display name, and profile picture.
- Search and scan history: products you searched for or scanned, with timestamps.
- Country and currency preferences.
- Rewards points balance (if applicable).
- Push notification token: if you opted in to price drop alerts, we hold a device push token to deliver notifications.
- Community scan submissions: in-store price scans you submitted to our community dataset, including the product identifier, observed price, store name, and timestamp.
- Any communications you sent us (e.g. support emails).
How to delete your account
You can delete your account directly from within the tagor.ai app. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will immediately deactivate your account and queue all associated personal data for deletion within 30 days.
How to submit a manual deletion request
If you are unable to delete your account from within the app, or if you wish to request deletion of specific data only (such as community scan submissions), please email Vaveti Inc. at tagorai@vaveti.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account and specify which data you wish to have deleted. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email when deletion is complete.
What happens after deletion
- Your account and profile are permanently deleted.
- Your search and scan history is deleted.
- Your push notification token is deleted and no further notifications will be sent.
- Your community scan submissions are removed from your account. Note: anonymised, aggregated price data derived from community scans (which cannot be linked back to you individually) may be retained as part of the community price dataset.
- Your rewards points balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered.
- Any active price alerts are cancelled.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained.
- We may retain certain data for up to 90 days in encrypted backups before it is permanently purged.
- We may retain records required by law (e.g. financial records related to affiliate commissions) for the legally required period.
Facebook / Meta data deletion
If you signed up or logged in using Facebook, you can also request data deletion directly through Facebook. Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → find tagor.ai → Remove and delete all activity. Vaveti Inc. will receive this request automatically and process it within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation code you can use to check the status of your request.
Deletion of data from third-party retailers
When you click through to a retailer via tagor.ai, any data you provide to that retailer (e.g. your name, address, payment details) is held by them, not by Vaveti Inc. To delete data held by a retailer, you must contact that retailer directly.
